I tried CIALIS for the first time; tried 20 mg. but after one hour took a second 20 mg. Sadly, my erection was as much imagination as reality. How much must I use? My body felt sick for 3 days after, from back pain to much discomfort in my loins. Is VIAGRA any different?

I don't know what medications you are taking, so that is a factor. I don't know what level of desire or excitement you had either, and that is a factor.
If desire is weak, there are things to do to get the spark going, because the ED pills just won't help much if the spark is not there.
In my opinion Viagra is a lot better. To save on cost, try 100mg and cut them in half to take 50mg. Increase to 75mg if 50mg isn't enough, 100mg max.
These are tricks to help it all work.
-Do not eat any food for at least 2 hours before taking the pill. Food will weaken the pill's absorbtion.
-Chew the viagra into chunks and allow them to sit under your tongue for about 5 minutes. It doesn't taste good, but doesn't taste bad either. This gets some of the drug straight into your bloodstream quickly. Then swallow with a little water. That will give a second wave as it is absorbed in the gut, but some of it is wasted in the gut, thus the enhanced benefit of absorbing some of it sublingually.It will be in your system in about 20 minutes, but you should wait until 50 minutes to 60 minutes to engage in sex. That is when the drug is at its peak.
Anything you can do to add romance will help. Candles, darkness, background noise such as a fan to remove any sounds of streets or neighbors or whatever. Don't hurry things. Trying too hard can backfire. Just relax, enjoy the sights, engage in oral sex with your partner, massages...anything and everything to add romance and relaxation.
I found Cialis rather weak. Viagra does the job, especially with the above tricks.

I think Viagra is stronger than Cialis, but both feel pretty toxic.

studies in the neurological urology have shown that viagra is the strongest among the pde inhibitors. but look good at the possible side effects list and maybe split a pill first to look what it does.
