SO, I spoke with my doctor today, and we agreed to give wellbutrin a try. I have NEVER taken this med and have no idea what to expect.
I have not really done well with SSRIs. Unfortunately, I will be dropping the ritalin, and mirtazpine as well. I am a bit concerned about anxiety being an issue, but hopefully it can be addressed with other meds.
The goal is:
- wellbutrin 150mg
- lithium 300mgI am currently taking 4 meds, so (if this happens to work) it will be easier on the pocketbook too. Wish me luck!

150 should be ok, my girlfriend started wellbutrin on 150 she was little peppy but it made her snappy edgy. I was on wellbutrin 20 years ago, it did improve mood with alertness and motivation but also made me a little edgy. There was a poster here long ago, Racer...she took 450 said she loved it, did the trick. I rerember wellbutrin you can notice wellbutrin on day 1, mild stimulation, but antidepressant effects don't show up till 1-2 weeks.
