valproate, lamotrigine and carbamazepine

Posted by farshad on August 3, 2018, at 13:37:09

hi ive tried many different meds none which worked and these type of class drugs i have yet to try but i heard they can used to get a stable mood. I looked some studies and these 3 have CRH inhibitions effects which is what im looking for.
has anyone tried either of these 3 for anxiety?

Studies i copy n pasted text:
''Valproate (depakote) decreased CRH release in rats also decrease CRF1 binding in the amygdala and hypothalamus , whereas lamotrigine stabilized ACTH/cortisol secretion. Moreover, felbamate was found to inhibit stress-induced corticosterone release in mice. Interestingly, recent data suggest that felbamat and some other new antiepileptic drugs may inhibit transcriptional activity of glucocorticoid receptors. Summing up, the above data suggest that traditional antiepileptic drugs may cause endocrine disturbances, especially in gonadal hormones.

Carbamazepine (CBZ) is a widely used therapeutic agent in seizure, pain, and mood disorders. Although CBZ has been shown to inhibit hypothalamic CRH .''

you would be so stablized you be kinda gloomy, lamotrigine at a moderate dose, like 200mg with carbazine and depakote, if you took 400mg of lamotrigine with other doses of the others you would be calm zombie, depending on the dose

vaporate is sedating, it's used in seizures and manic episodes, sedating, and tegretol would be kinda mind numbing, and im very sure there has been people on this dose, in the past and present

lol the best for anxiety would be valproate, or depakote, lamotrigine is good for mood in depression but really anxiety, tegretol somewhat could anxiety, its a potent mood stabilizer and anticonvulsant, but i don't think it would as good for anxiety

valproate is sedating, but yes it would be the best for anxiety, the way i see it

Topamax or Trileptal has any of these been shown to help with anxiety? Valproate ,Carbamazepine and Lamotigrine I believe works for anxiety becuase they inhibit CRH(cortisol releasing hormone) but i couldnt find any studies on these two showing to inhibit crh, neither with lyrica and Gabapentin .
