It's been asked before, but it needs to be asked again,,,
Are there other message boards out there that you'all find credible?I do find that Dr-Bob.org has the most intellectual members, but since I haven't seen any activity from Dr. Bob as far as moderating these boards - seems the boards are getting overrun with trouble-makers & spammers! Such as shame 'cause I've been following Dr-Bob.org for years as a very reliable source for info.
Sincerely,
Rudy

I feel sad when i read this. Very sad to be honest.
Are you going to leave me and the people who need you?
Everyone leaves me all the time and you're no different!
I'm deeply disappointed as i have dependent personality disorder, and we should be able to help people here, not leave them.
Why do you guys just see problems and not that they can be fixed?
It breaks my heart.
I think if you guys leave this forum because of a problem that can be solved, you are just as bad as Lou!!
:-(

I think you are negative people, please try to be positive and see opportunities instead of problems.
I feel that some people here are so lovely and i don't want any negative folks around here.

I've actually found that there are less flame-outs and long unproductive discussions about problem posters. Posters who used to dominate the site and insult people then get banned, then come back with a new name, seem to have disappeared. Save for a brief flurry of spam looking to sell drugs on-line and, of course, our perennial anti-drug, gloom and doom Lou, (about whom Bob did nothing), things are much more civil.

Oh, please don't get me wrong,,, I love Dr-Bob.org and prefer it over any other source of patients exchanging experiences & info.Does anyone actually hear from Dr.Bob? Is he occasionally monitoring posts here?

The following is a very interesting statement:

In what ways do you think that Lou is bad?

It is hard to know.
I agree with Baseball55 in that Psycho-Babble remains quite civil despite the lack of active moderation.
What are the things that are most concerning to you in the postings to be found on Psycho-Babble?

yea there's tons of other websites, psychcentral, i mean at least 30 other websites that are similar to babble, but but babble seems to be a closer relationhship with posters, like a community family.....the others websites have alot of members but don't really have the closeness as babble does to others, there's alot of good advice that's given here, mainly all the posters.....i've tried to move to other websites, but i've attached to babble because i first started posting here in 2003 and it just....i guess imprinted on me to stay here, i've posted in bluelight, and psychcentral, and a few others but didnt really stay......
this site does have many intellectual members that give great advice, the deputies and dr-bob are absent but i think where doing good as a communitee even with trolling posts, and still keep giving advice to people in need

You wrote,[...the boards are getting overrun with trouble-makers and spammers...].
What you posted could arouse ant-Semitic feelings unless you clarify your remarks about me here.
Mr. Hsiung is allowing you to defame me as I could be your subject person in the slander. This shows a contempt for me and you are putting me in a false light. Mr. Hsiung says that he thinks by allowing hate to be seen as supportive, that it will be good for his community as a whole. I say to you that you will in no wise profit from the hate that you have posted here as psychologists study hate groups that deride the Jews and find that those in those groups are way below average in intelligence and commit hate crimes and mass-murder. Mr. Hsiung allows you to post such hate that could cause vulnerable people to suffer a horrible death. Their blood will not be upon me.

Hi Rudy, there's psych central and Crazy Meds. You've visited them I imagine. Personally, I don't care for either, although both have merits. Have you seen them?

Hey, Hay, Hey, Horse!
Though it's specific to social anxiety, I find this particular website (just found it the other day) very well organized & informative, especially when reading others experiences on various drugs.

I like SAS to, but i miss the complex discussions about pharmacology.
But it can help a whole lot of people with reading about peoples experiences and a lot of diaries to which is awsome!I read a parnate day 1-45, diary before i started and it was very comforting.
I recommend it to.
But i think we're gonna manage to get this forum back on track again, i feel positive today!

While reading Dr. Peter Kramer's excellent new book, "Ordinarily Well - The Case for Antidepressants", I learned of a new website, "network", data center,,, whatever they want to call it, called the MoodNetwork, which has the potential to be a wonderful wealth of information. I signed up to be a member/contributing participant - I figure anything I can do to help broaden the horizons of mental health is well worth my time!
Here's the site - please check it out:
