This happened to me for the first time since last summer when I was studying chemistry.
Bam its 3pm I try to read something and I can't really understand anything. In addition all the little noises in the back ground jump into the foreground and it's all I can focus on and I start getting really upset.
I've read it's ADD, stress, Schizaffective, and just the traits of someone who is creative. But it doesn't happen all the time.
Does anyone have this experience?

My solution is always to close the books and take a walk or something to clear my mind. Studying in small doses helps as well. No cramming. A little time everyday.
You may be pathologizing a common experience.
