I take: 1200/Trileptal, 100/Lamictal, 400/Wellbutrin, and 30/Abilify. I have 100mgs/neurontin and 2mgs/Risperidone I can take if I feel the need. I rarely take either, because the Wellbutrin seems to have cleared a lot of things up for me.
I still have very low moods at times and stuff that goes with it, like mild agitation and lingering semi-paranoia. The voices I'd been hearing are clearing up, gradually, and I'm doing much, much better. The diagnosis is still Bipolar I of some sort (I think).
Anyway, I was thinking 200mgs/Lamictal might be helpful for the depression, but I don't want to get overloaded an anticonvulsants. Is 1200/Trileptal a normal dose? Would 200/Lamictal be too much? So many questions...
Thanks in advance.

i've read people taking 600mg of lamotragine and tegretol, but those are usally for siezure/eplipsy, not in bipolar cases
lamotragine at 200mg is good target dose for depression, 400mg is more for mood stablization and when i was on 400mg i felt boring, too stablized, but to some people it's effective for their cases......100mg can sometimes be hard to notice
ask your doctor, there should not be any serious interactions, if you where on lamotragine 600mg and tegretol and discontimued them, that would cause withdrawl because they work on voltage channels, and they would increase rapidly after discontinueation but that's not the case
This is the end of the thread.
