joe,
Benzodiazepines are highly addictive and the withdrawal could induce thoughts that being dead would be better than the state you are in. In Klonopin, we have one of the most addictive benzodiazepines, that could induce a horrific state of being, and the longer you stay on the drug the more intense could be the withdrawal and the suicidal urges. And worse, in long-term use the withdrawal could come with seizures.
But it is much worse than that. You see, the drug makers state that the mechanism of action is unknown in most of these mind-altering chemicals. These chemicals can travel throughout the nervous system and into the brain and other organs as they are organic compounds that I am prevented here by Mr. Hsiung to educate you about, and if I was, I think that your life could be saved, and the lives of others and those killed by the drugs here could still be alive. In your case, the multiple plethora of drugs is so extreme that there could be multiple addictions and multiple withdrawals. Addictions that in withdrawal could induce a state of being as being dehumanized and you could commit mass-murder, even kill your parents or children.
You see, I used the analogy here as the drugs being like a pin-ball machine with the ball hitting the receptor to bring on a light flashing and a bell ringing and the score going up. But you can not know where the ball will hit next. And in your case, there are multiple balls all banging into each other throwing the balls to unknown spaces to hit other receptors that could cause a horn to sound and cause death.
This is usually by the heart being made to stop by the drugs. And the pin-ball-wizards here that tell you to take drugs also do not know where the ball will be bounced to, and could cause your death because they do not tell of the consequences that could befall those that take the drugs that they promote here, all in not being in compliance with the FDA rules for advertising a drug, which could mislead readers to think that the drugs are safer than they really are by leaving out material facts that could cause life-ruining conditions or death from the drugs.
And when the last trump sounds, those that are made to suffer a horrible death by these drugs, their blood will not be upon me.
Lou

Yes. That's one of the things they do inpatient is try to adjust people's meds in a safe environment where they can closely watch your reactions.

I heard many times that when withdrawing from a shorter acting benzo like klonopin its best to switch to a longer acting benzo ideally diazepam and taper very slowly over many weeks. I was on 5mg klonopin and thats what my doctor suggested to me. Dont forget diazepam comes in 2mg pills which is less than .25mg klonopin so it can be done very slowly and accurately and most importantly safely. pb

My dr told me, and could be wrong, who knows, that if you are on a low dose of any benzo, using diazepam is not a good solution. like if im on 2mg of xanax a day, diazepam is not good to use. but if im on 10mg xanax a day, diazepam is good to use.
i think because diazepam is hard to manage blood levels due to its cumulative effect. and you dont want to introduce another issue if you dont have to.
honestly i dont know really why pdoc said that
