Talking to neighbor who does transcription for a lot of doctors in her home. She said that many of the docs are now using cymbalta for arthritic pain, back pain. No wonder when took it when newly released had no back pain while on it. Also said that if didn't want to pay a lot get it prescribed from a doc that treats pain. This would be my neuro spine surgeon guessing. Anyone take it for this? Thanks Phillipa

My bladder doc suggested it might work for my IC pain. She said she prefers Elavil, but said I could try Cymbalta.

I did google and it is now approved for all sorts of pain arthritis included. Interesting that something that is an ad can also have these effects. Phillipa
