That's actually a great question.
I think that one aspect of mood disorders is an inability of the brain to regulate itself in a way that promotes stability and resilience.
What is "mood"?

the inability to handle ups and downs of life or handling them with rage and or anger then frustration and exhaustion..depression following because of the inability to control and the hurt verbal or physical you may have inflicted upon others.
My daughter swears that everyone has their own "self control" except those with schizophrenic and that everyone else has the ability to "control" themselves and that they make their own choices and they have control over their choices. They don't need meds for this they just need to control themselves. thoughts?
