My sleep has cr*pped out again. My chickens act according to the season. Anyone else? Just checking.
And, during the last week or so, I have episodes of agitation. This seemed to be triggered by taking an antiviral of all things, but it has not subsided after withdrawing the AV. I feel rattled and worn down.
Question: could Lexapro be involved? I'm about 10-12 weeks in and, otherwise, having a great response.

YES. My sleep is f'd up too again.
I seem to have the worst time in the spring and fall. The summer can be bad too. Winter is good for me sleep wise.
It seems that for winter, it's easy, I just sleep 12-14 hours a day and all is ok. In the fall though, my brain still wants to hold onto the summer for a bit longer. So, I have been going a night sleeping longer and then a night of little / no sleep.
It seems to be accompanied by this extreme anxiety from nowhere. Its mostly physical anxiety, like I have been injected with adrenaline.
Frustrating.

Just to add. Sometimes a day of total darkness helps a lot. I did this today as I had the day off. It seems to have settled me a little.

I wonder if this is what is also wrong with me. One night can sleep with meds and next night wake with something and can't return to sleep even with the second half of meds I normally take when take synthroid during the night. I can't sit still during the day yet I don't have the motivation to do a thing . But then I have to get out of here. I settle down after riding bike and it gets dark and just sit at computer. I keep thinking I have Alzheimers you know sun downers or something. I'm turning into to the worse hypochondriac. See that pdoc today and don't want to go cause if I tell him he will do nothing anyway. I do not like docs of any kind anymore. I am angry all the time also and the temp dropped 20 degrees in an hour day before yesterday and the sun disappeared and rain. I do not like this weather. See a mini temper tantrum. Phillipa

When the sun sets, I feel a bit melancholy. I don't think it's sun downers in your case. Maybe you are sensitive to diurnal cycles.

Scott, this is helpful. My amber, polarized raybans are relaxing, and now I understand why. I have worn them for years and always insist on amber tint.
I think I'll try it too.
