im soon ditching my current doctor, look at me in the session and don't take anything i take seriously, then high profile patients which she sees can get anything they request.....soo....
do you have to request a discharge? or just leave......im on too much bipolar meds and i had to fight to even get taken seriously, the previous years in 2010 i would describe the depression and parts of anxiety that i had, and all she did was write it on her notepad...and said learn coping skills.....i was so vunerable, and nothing i said waas taken seriously..
but.....besides all that, just simple question do you have to get discharged?

RJ is you are asking if you can switch doctors without permission to the best of knowledge you can. But have another doctor first that accepts you as a patient. Phillipa

yea....im on heavy doses, prozac 60mg, lamictal 500mg, zyprexa 20mg, nuvigil....
there all high doses on treating a disorder that i don't even think i have.....but like i said my body created a tolerance to alot of htings.....it's really annoying to even think about that im in this low state, meds are at high dosees, and my body repeatdly represses it, like it's not even absorbing it.....sometimes the meds work, and then other times they don't, it's like some kinda of cancelation out of the substances, or something is wrong with the gastrotrack....it's really a difficult situation, i have no idea if it's an absorbation malfunction, or my body just changed and became resistant to various things, it's really gloomy to feel that i can't get out of this slump.....
but still i may stay with my doctor.....the main thing that's bothering me really, is body's resistance, or tolerance, or an absorbation malfunction, where it's not taking it in.....but like i said, i will notice some effect, but then it disappears.....and im back in a slump.....
just been praying to god for healing of this.....
i am going to stay with the medication im on right now because i have switched meds frequently and by body cancels it out.....it has to be a malfucntion.....
that's all.....
thanks for posting:)

i've gotta get that checked out....would you know any tests they can run on the gastric absorbation part of the body? or ... somehow find a test to figure why my body is resistant to many medications.....it has to be a gastric problem, and it's really making me mad that my body is pulling me back down because of it's damned malfunction
are there any general tests? ill have find out more deeper tests but those are expensive...

Maybe drinking less and drinking more water would help? Aparently alcohol affects absorbtion.

You have the right to refuse medical attention. IE, you don't have to go to the doctor. Your new doctor might want to talk to your old doctor about your treatment. But you don't have to sign a release to alow the doc to contact your old doc. Your new doc might also want records from your last doc. But you can go to any doc you want, you just have to hope you will get the treatment you want, there is no guarantee, but you can always try out a new doctor, or get a second opinion from anouther doc.

You also have to find out if the doc will take your insurance or pay out of pocket.
