If Saphris didn't work for me as an AD add on, will Latuda be any different?

This may sound trite, but there's only one way to find out. Unfortunately, it's true.
On the other hand, you may be more likely to have success with a different type of drug, rather than trying another antipsychotic. The choice would be determined by your illness and medication history.

My basic understanding is that Saphris is more similar to Zyprexa and Seroquel, and Latuda is more similar to Geodon.
Personally, Saphris helped me the most out of any antipsychotic I have tried (Abilify, Seroquel, Zyprexa, Geodon, Latuda). But it had side effects for me and I eventually chose to discontinue. Ive also tried Latuda but it made me feel worse. I think ed_uk is right, you won't know until you try it.
Have you tried Abilify as a AD add on? I would consider that first before Latuda. There is a high dose folate supplement called Deplin which also may help as an add on to AD. Just my opinion though I'm not a doctor... herpills

There's lots of non-AAP drugs that can be used as augmenting agents in depression. Some that come to mind: Ritalin, focalin, Adderall, Dexedrine, vyvanse, Provigil, nuvigil, buspirone, lithium, pindolol, lamictal, Xanax and other benzos, deplin. You have options! My personal feeling would be that if you've tried couple AAPs, it may be time to try a different class of add-on drugs. That's just me though...I'm not writing your prescriptions.
Good luck!

I have had good luck with Saphris. What didn't you like about it?

Latuda will be vastly different. It agonises 5ht1a receptors and antagonizes 5ht7 receptors which can makes it more effective as an anxiolytic.
