A couple of months ago I was feeling good on a regiment of Lithium, Viibryd, Vyvanse and Abilify. I wasn't happy with my OCD, however, so my doctor and I decided to add Mirtazapine. A month later I was kicking and screaming about racing thoughts andan intensity that could only be explained as mania. My doctor pulled me off the Mirtazapine and my manic symptoms came under control. Unfortunately, I started having panic attacks and mood problems AT NIGHT. During the day I was fine, then night would role around and I'd become depressed and start having panic attacks. I switched around antipsychotics to see if that would help. Nope. Added Ativan at night. Panic attacks resolved, but depression remained. What the hell? I've never been long term on benzodiazapines and this nocturnal mood-worsening makes no sense to me. Unless my Viibryd is pooping out? Should I try another antidepressant?

poop out, it happened to me too after 2 months on seroquel, and it never kicked in we're 10 years into the future now since it worked, and it let me down also, you need to switch or find another med i'm affraid :(

PDoc and I decided to switch to Mirtazapine.

one time i was put on Prozasin (not sure of spelling).
its used for a lot of folks with PTSD that have nighttime sleep issues.now for me, within one day i turned into a crying mess. but most others it seems to help.
just a suggestion.
