Seems both I and husband met a friend through our selling site. It's a tough situation. She had breast cancer and now has bone mets but fully functioning. Takes high dose of pain meds but also still getting infusions for bone mets to help with pain. Drives maintains her online business shops for merchandise etc. Problem is her Daughter age 26 is married going through divorce they have a 2 year old who the courts have placed with Paternal Grandparents as the Daughter & Son in Law both were on yup heroin. Now in the court system. Both on is it subtonex ? Seems the Grandmother friend is tormented by not having more time alone with granddaughter as the courts mandated supervised ones as they know she has pain meds in her home. And the Daughter lives with her. I've never known anyone with this situation. She just wrote she wanted to write social services and confess she gave her Daughter twice a pain med to keep her from buying heroine. A Year ago. I said no don't. Has to use a public defender as no money. And yes I know this sounds unbelievable as when my husband told me her story I said she's full of it. Anyone have comments, responses, advise. No not close to us as in Colorado. But through emails have come to like the spunk of this lady. Thanks Phillipa

I would tell her not to mention to anybody the fact that she gave her son/daughter one of her pain meds, even if it was for the best of reasons - they would make minced meat of her in court over that.
I dont know what to say phillips, because i dont know Americas legal system, buy i can say that by being her friend in a time of trouble you're being a great help.

Jono that's what I wrote her. I've never been involved with stuff like this and definitely don't ever want to be. Amazing the places you meet people. Thanks Phillipa
