I've posted about this previously, but Celexa is a med I got off of 6 months ago. My depression/anxiety skyrocketed in that time, and I am trying to get back on it now, but it's giving me horrible panic/anxiety/skin burning sensations. My psychiatrist insists that I push through. So this is going to be an interesting week. I hope and pray that this works. If anyone has any experience on going through the SSRI panic phase to come out the other end feeling better, LET ME KNOW, I need the encouragement. The strange thing is when starting SSRI's in the past, this has never happened. But again, looks like I'm just going to have to grin and bear it for a while.
Thanks for reading.

Ask your doctor for a benzodiazepine tranquilizer to take for the first 10 days, Xanax 0.5mg three times a day, Valium 5mg three times a day, Ativan 1mg twice a day.
Take half a Celexa tablet each day for the first 4 days, then a full tablet each day
