does anyone tink its possible for low doses of ap added to an AD can give access to dammed up emotions? Meds and PTSD have kept me emotionally constipated for years and Im starting to enjoy a whole nuance of bittersweet feelings...I think :)

Maybe? I mean, I take a full 30mgs/Abilify per day and I have a better emotional range on meds than off. My guess would be that reducing/eliminating psychosis and significantly reducing agitation could go a long way towards freeing up mental and emotional energy.
That's me, though. If its a low dose, it could be anxiety reduction, mild stimulation, AD-boosting...who knows? If it works, works well, works with few or no sides, embrace the positive changes in your emotional state.

i like your screenname, reminds of porkiepig LOL
I have to say, exactly what your wrote, at night when I take Zyprexa...it losens my thoughts up, relief from being in this stuck state of no emotion. It's also vary good if your thoughts are on fire, or becomeing psychotic...totoally puts out the fire.
Ask your doc about it. Still if they decline, there are supplements like valerian root, and ofcourse having a glass of wine before bed...
zyprexa almost would be a gold treatment for this situation, having a offlabel stimulant like provgil may help because its stimulating, zyprexa is sedating.
good luck!

Nausea and groggy fluish symptoms are now the worst side effects at 2mgs on day 2. they abated around 5pm 30 mins after taking .25 mgs of klonopin.
I normnally take tiny bits of klonopin in the the am and a night, but I've been holding off on my morning dose cuz I don't want to be more groggy. I wonder if it's a coincidence that the gross feeling stopped after the klonopin OR is the flu a response to something the abilify is releasing that the klonopin blocks?
I was hoping to replace the kl (and a number of other drugs) with the =abilify, but this could complicate matters.
This is the end of the thread.
