One week even with benzos ended up in hospital quite a few years ago appeared manic to pdoc. Not the best med with anxiety for sure. Phillipa

Oh man, I remember when I was put on Wellbutrin alone. I had been suicidally depressed and it was my first med. Instant intense hypomania. It was great. I had soo much energy and I was sooo productive and interested in everything. I enjoyed it thoroughly. After a few days I couldn't handle it anymore because I really wasnt sleeping at all and I started having crying jags and whatnot. But I had an utterly fantastic few days.

I'll never understand why drug companies list hypomania as an 'adverse' event. As long as it isn't too strong it's an utterly wonderful state of mind
