Sorry, I wasn't sure if this should go on alternative, but I thought people on here might be more familiar with MAOIs.
I know I'm a bit of a hypochondriac, but I was just worried about the consistently poor sleep I'm having on Parnate and its effect on immunity. After becoming depressed, I was struck by flu-like symptoms (sore throat, GI disturbances). These cleared up on Lexapro, but I've been sleeping quite badly for the past 4 weeks on Parnate and am just feeling quite unwell in general.
My hope is my sleep will improve eventually, but in the meantime, is there anything supplement-wise I can take to help support immunity that isn't contraindicated with an MAOI. FWIW, I can't actually tolerate Vitamin D (too much anxiety) or Zinc (ditto). I avoid Vitamin C too 'cos I could almost swear it messes up my sleep, but I eat a lot of blueberries.

I just notice chronic, flu-like symptoms (e.g. sore throat, food intolerances, etc.) which last for months on end. They disappeared for a while, but now that I'm not sleeping very well on Parnate, I've noticed them come back.

What would combining an MAOI with an MAOI do?
