It's been short trip. The kicker was the appearance of 'unusual thoughts'. Identifying unusual is no means feat, when my brain is like an existential job lot. Then there's the insomnia (???), new depths of cognitive function loss, and balance issues, too.
My life is a freaking fire sale. Looking for a therapist, retaining my pdoc as a pdoc
only. He's been both for almost three years--my longest therapeutic relationship. I initiated this.Bleech.
Any suggestions as to Lyrica taper?
I was at 4x75mg per day. Today I took three. I don't want to hurry and cause more sides than necessary. Then the dex dump. Yes, it's true. After
the Parkinson's news (I told pdoc so many times during the first year of stim
therapy that I feared this. Then he calls like it's the most shocking connection ever.) So I've independently dropped from 60 to 45mg daily. That brings us up to date since last week.
Oh yes. Pain 101. Google norco rebound.

I'm currently discontinuing Lyrica at the moment too. I'm now on 75mgs in a morning only, by the end of this week I'll hopefully be off it completely, however, I am very cautious. My anxiety is pretty bad at the moment - not sure if it's the Lyrica withdrawal or whether it's me. It's very unpleasant whatever is causing it.
Have you considered taking Valium, or another long acting benzo, while tapering the Lyrica to help with the unpleasant withdrawal effects?

FB oh my you really are having a hard time. I've not heard of those things happening with lyrica but I don't doubt you how horrible. And the Parkinson's with dex I hope that link I posted didn't cause you distress. I haven't read your response but not you are up late. Take it slow and be sure about the dex as just cause one study says this doesn't necessarily mean it's true. Love Phillipa

Sorry FB, the medication roller coaster ride really sucks.
I hope you find and new therapist and a medication that helps you soon.
