My pdoc told me that within three to four years there will be a genetic cure for schizophrenia and that the research is at an advanced stage.
Has anyone heard anything similar?Thanks.

I think they have isolated a gene implicated in schizophenia which would help develop meds or differentiate between other diagnosis? Not sure though? Phillipa

I don't know why he told me this. It really sounded too good to be true. :( Could it be that he has some inside info that hasn't gotten out yet?
