How do I sleep less?

Posted by tiopenster on November 28, 2010, at 12:02:09

I'm on a nasty combo of Remeron and Geodon that makes me sleep about 11 hrs and then I'm groggy for another 2-3 hours after I wake up. Is there anything I can take or do to sleep a normal 8 hours or be less groggy. Any improvement would be great. Provigil has been no help.

If your current medication is causing intolerable side effects, it wouldn't make sense to add any further drugs to try and counteract this. I think it would be best to talk to your doctor about switching to something else.

Switching is not an option. This is the only combo that works well for me. And this is the only side effect that is detrimental. It just happens to be a doozy.
