My pdoc recently upped my dose of Nardil to 90 mg/day. Taken 3 times a day. I started 90mg 3 weeks ago from 75 mg. On 75 mg I felt pretty good socially, so far on 90 mg i'm not feeling the same socially that I was on 75 mg. Is this common and should I wait a few more weeks on 90 mg to see if it has a better effect than 75 mg and does this happen sometimes with Nardil where higher doses don't always have the same theurpatic effect than lower doses?
Any advice would help thanks.

> Any advice would help thanks. For me, an increase in the dosage of Nardil to 90mg produced a sort of temporary brain fog that disappeared after a week or so. Some people might describe it as feeling weird. I think feeling weird is sometimes a good thing with these drugs. It suggests to me that something might be penetrating the illness.

Can anyone else with experience with Nardil help me out with some advice on what I should do since i've increased to 90 mg from 75 mg, right now it seems that 75 mg i felt socically better, but how can that be possible if 90 mg is a higher dose?

I have never known Nardil to have an upper bounded therapeutic window. In other words, Nardil should work at least as well for symptom reduction at 90mg as it does at 75mg, but with the liability of a greater load of side effects.
I would give 90mg of Nardil some more time to allow things to find a homeostasis (balance) in the brain. I use to wait 3 weeks before evaluating the effects of a dosage increase.
