Firstly I should say that I've never taken Ketaconazole
I'm interested in Cortisol lowering therapies though
Something that concerns me is that Ketaconazole has Testosterone lowering properties
I would have though that this would be a problem for men taking the drugAnother thing that interests me is how people respond to Anticortisol treatments.
If you have a positive response to something that lowers Cortisol, does that mean that your Cortisol levels are to high?

i think it inhibits the P450 enzyme, so SSRI's, benzos and most APs are out, but i think some tricyclics MIGHT be ok??

Due to the risk of severe liver damage, ketoconazole is no longer a commonly used antifungal (its primary use). Just something to bear in mind.

Well, it also kills yeast, fungus, and candida, which are believed by many to be epidemic problems underlying symptoms such as depression, fatigue, and brain fog. For sure I felt a ton better while on Diflucan.
This is the end of the thread.
