There seems to be a lot of confusion between Emsam and oral selegiline. Here is a detailed explanation of the difference:
http://www.drugs.com/pro/emsam.htmlFigure 2 in the article (can copy it here) shows that 6 mg Emsam results in a blood level of selegiline 10 times greater than 10mg oral selegiline. At the same time, amphetamine metabolites present from 6mg Emsam are about 1/3rd that of those present with 10mg oral selegiline. It really is a quite different drug.

Yea thanks good find. But must say that Emsam still yields an appreciable amount of amphetamine metabolites despite 2/3 less than oral selegiline. Enough to make me want to stop taking it!
Maybe it's just that I'm sensitive to stimulants but I really dislike that l-amphetamine. There's nothing like something that is sedating but gives me the jitters at the same time ... yes Adderall makes me TIRED!
