Ahh yes it does have promise in treating that. It's also been shown to possibly be neuroprotective in some ways. And, it may promote neurogenesis.
If it works for you, I believe that it is a fairly clean side effect free drug for many that is worth taking.
I know a few here did not respond well to Memantine. Maybe they will share their experiences.

I took 20mg for a couple of months and it had no effect on my OCD.
