Manic join the club probably arthritis just the osteoarthritis a good portion of people have it after age 40 athletes earlier. Be thankful it's not rheumatoid arthritis. Where is the bleeding coming from? Didnt you say you were on ibuphrophen? Could be from that I'd cut down and see if you can get something that doesn't irritate stomach and cause some bleeding. That's good new about the blood testing. Love Phillipa

Phillipa, I think he was just using 'bleeding' as a adjective - an expletive - like "damn joint pain?"
Or maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I'm used to from another British friend :-)

Manic, do you have osteoarthritis?
I do and control it pretty well.
If I didn't take all sorts of things I'd be in hospital with septic arthritis within a month, no trouble.
It is actually reasonably easy to control, if that is what you have.

This is what I take
http://www.lef.org/Vitamins-Supplements/Item01303/ArthroMax-with-Theaflavins.html
It helps with the pain; even better, it stops it.
And, importantly, it diminishes the fluid around my knee.
It is this fluid that became infected somehow and led to hospital long ago.

Sigi the synovial fluid surrounds the joints and as we age kind of dries up like other parts of our bodies. Thanks for the link. Interesting. And this seriously works for you? Love PJ
