Phil you have a great sense of humor. So pristiq causes vomiting for you? If so so sorry. But more importantly are you feeling better depression wise? Love Phillipa

Yeah this Effexor family is going to kill me.

I called my pdoc and, of all things, he thinks it's the lithium increase which makes no sense whatsoever.

Instead of taking Li 900mg all at night, he said to take 300 3x a day with meals. (What meals?)

I think I've been on 70+ meds now so he's trying to get each trial to stick.

I'll give it a few more days but that's it.

Phil agree with FB and you could become dehydrated which could lead to lithium problems. Phillipa

I'm so sorry. I know that's not at all helpful but I am very sorry....

I have always enjoyed your sense of humor so I loved the subject line. You know you're way cool, right?

My doctor returned my call at lunchtime yesterday.
I explained my situation.

He said it's the lithium. (what??) I'm on 900mg down from 1200. He said to split the dose to a.m. noon, and night and stay at 50mg Pristiq, don't up as planned.

I said thanks but I was thinking, how do these people make it through med school.

He was right. No nausea last night even after 3 days of not eating(which I'm going to correct when those golden arches light up.)

Sometimes the good doctors are just that, good doctors.

Now, we'll see if the Pristiq actually works for me.
