My MD has me on a trial of Deplin(L-Methylfolate), 7.5mg. I'm off all antidepressants for the past 4 months or so. I was on Nardil for years. I'm still taking 2mg of clonazepam to keep my anxiety level down.
I have noticed no real benefits of the Deplin, but it has no side effects for me and I'm not back in major depression. Really hard to tell if it is doing any good. I still have my bad days, but being away from the Nardil side effects is nice. My worse were the carb cravings, insomnia, delayed or absent ejaculation, and afternoon tiredness. I'm hiking almost daily and finally starting to lose some of the medication induced weight gain.
Comments from anyone else taking it would be appreciated. I know it is mostly used as an augmenter, but if your body doesn't process folate, then maybe that direct path to the brain will help some of us.
I'm sure there are some posts I've missed since I've been on Babble only rarely since stopping Nardil. I will do a Google search so you don't have to repeat yourself if you've already posted on the subject.
Thanks guys,
Jedi

ILL be trying this for my weight,...
Clenbuterol
"Clenbuterol (often called just Clen) is used by athletes and bodybuilders for its ability as a beta-2 agonist. It therefore stimulates your beta-2 receptors, which in turn help you to lose fat by allowing your body to release and burn more stored fat. Clen has been used for literally decades in the foreign veterinary world, for increasing the lean yield of livestock. It is clearly a very effective agent for this purpose, although its long half life and tendency to stay active in the body for long periods of time mean that vets in the United States arent able to use it. This is also the reason why (although its an asthma medication) its not available to asthmatics in the US of A. Albuterol is Clens shorter acting cousin, and thats the FDAs drug of choice here. "
