I have tried every antidepressant out there. Nrdil seemed to have worked and have been on it 20 years. Actually, thinking back I didn't need an antidepressant I needed intense phsycotherapy. Nevertheless, I just stopped taking Nardil 3 weeks ago. For the first time, I do not have any of the withdrawal effects that usually come when I stop taking it (for surgery, etc.)
But, I do not feel good. The only time I feel good is when my back hurts and have to take hydrocodone or oxycodone. But that good feeling does not feel real-it feels artificial. I have read much about subutex here and would love to hear from anyone that is on it and how it compares to traditional antidepressants.
