The topic of "Klonopin withdrawal" doesn't attract much attention, so here is a new post.
I just got prescribed Gabapentin.....(continue in thread)

gabapentin is a neat little anxiolitic that doesn't become addictive and can always be stopped cold. It can be taken in larger doses (say . .900mg) at bedtime for a sleep aide. Don't take that dosage (900mg) during the day as the side effect is a somewhat "drunken" walk and lack of coordination.

I've read (not in depth) that long-term use can cause a horrible withdrawal. That same site compared it to the withdrawal seen with benzodiazepines. So I'm guessing they were wrong with that statement and there are no withdrawal symptoms upon discontinuation or they do not know (though info is widespread on this subject) anything about benzo withdrawal. The word "serious" (referring to "gabapentin withdrawal") was thrown in there though, thus implying benzo withdrawal must be serious. I hit the red x on the top right of my browser, with force, as I was beginning to feel stupider each word I read.

Now...amphetamine salts and gabapentin. Does the N ease the roller coaster ride? Not asking whether or not it decreases/prevents amph tolerance, as DA is surely lost no matter what. Any interactions people know of that I may not find online without actually typing the two or more medications into a search engine? I have a book called "The Pill Book" lol...And it says its uniqueness (N) lies in the fact that it doesn't interact with anything. But, we all know there is more to interaction between medications than what they are referring to. Example/Guess gabapentin cumulating in my urinary tract and somehow effecting amph absorption/excretion.
Any input would be appreciated. I hope people see there are three med's in discussin here: Neurontin, Adderall, and Clonazepam (long time member Philipa is interested in matters involving this specific drug).
And by "N", I did not mean Nardil.
