Anyone taking divided doses (7.5mg chunks) of nardil to accomodate the need for "the in between" regimen? I assume this is ok since the pill is simply sugar/film coated.
thnx

That's my assumption, as well. I haven't tried it, though.

I've split Nardil pills. There is no problem with doing that to the best of my knowledge.

I have been doing this for awhile now. Actually i take 12mg 3x/day (for various reasons-- yes it is a pretty low dose-- not fully effective but still extremely effective) which is very difficult to make precise via cutting, as you can imagine. But i have not noticed a difference in potency or duration of effects when taking partial tablets rather than whole tablets (respective of dose of course).
But what you can also do if you find you need to or would be more convenient is find get a prescription for the specific dose you need and then locate a compounding pharmacy that would be willing to fill it (standardize the powdered dose into capsules). I was doing this for awhile. A little pricier but not too bad and if you cannot find a local one to go to you can find a good (and cheaper) one elsewhere that can then ship it to you. I have found several good compounding pharmacies around the U.S. that will do this (fill the Rx and ship it) for reasonably little extra. Well shoot i might as well post the link i have here in case you or anyone is interested. (I'm almost certain this is not against Dr. Bob's rules since it only shows legitimate pharmacies that you cannot buy medications from without a valid prescription.) It shows a list of some compounding pharmacies in the U.S.www.kbvisions.com/pharmacy_lookup.htm
Good luck to you with everything.
P.S. I imagine the same thing would be possible in many countries outside the U.S. too of course, for those of you who are.
This is the end of the thread.
