Did you get insomnia from nardil?

I was prescribed nardil a few months ago but have been too afraid to take it, mainly due to the risk of a hypertensive crisis from accidentally eating the wrong thing.

I am half considering it again, but i've heard that it can give you severe insomnia? If this is the case I think I will steer clear. I already have insomnia as it is, so anything that makes it worse is horrible for me.

So has pretty much everyone got insomnia off nardil? Is there anyone who hasn't?

Severe insomnia.. it was rediculous.. and none of the sleep meds helped.. it was so bad the doc even prescribed me rohypnol.. i never thought i would see that drug in my life.. only ever heard of it on ACA :)

So for someone who already suffers insomnia, would nardil be a bad idea?

Could you tolerate the insomnia or did you have to go off nardil for that reason?

i put up with it, i had to go off Nardil because of the orthostatic hypotension... i couldn't be standing up for more than 5 minutes without fainting.
Oh and the sexual dysfuntion it causes puts SSRi's to shame.

I did in the beginning, but it would only keep me awake for an hour or two. Now it's been about 6 weeks and I have no insomnia whatsoever.
