I've recently started taking Wellbutrin SR 150/mg twice a day. The problem is, it doesn't seem to be doing much for my depression, the doctor had mentioned possible adding Prozac along with the Wellbutrin, has anybody tried that combination and what kind of results did you have??

No problem! Not many people use the feature anyway. We get a lot of repeated questions. :)

I take 300 mg Wellbutrin in the morning, 40 mg Prozac in the morning and again at night, and .25 Xanax as needed. Its been the most successful combo for me so far. Both Wellbutrin & Prozac are very stimulating for me, and sometimes my anxiety kicks into overdrive (which may or may not be exasperated by the meds, I really don't know). For this I take the occasional Xanax. Its fairly rare that I have to take it, but its definitely something I need to have just in case. I've tried taking less stimulating meds in an effort to try to do away with the need for the Xanax, but I just end up getting terribly depressed. This is the only combo that works for me. Anyway, hope this helps!
