Hi everyone,
I'm on 12mg of Emsam, though probably going back down to 9mg due to sleep and slight anxiety issues. Been reading about DLPA / PEA and curious as to which one I should try as add on, and at what dosages. I know I'm supposed to start small, and studies have shown that either 250mg of DLPA or up to 60mg of PEA work...But what are the advantages/disadvantages of using DLPA vs PEA directly? It seems the main point of the DLPA is to get the PEA, so why not just use the PEA? Is there any disadvantages of this plan?
And is there some way to equate the mg of DLPA to equivalent mg of PEA? I can't imagine all of the D-PA is converted...so if i'm trying to do apples to apples comparision, what should I do?
Thanks,
[satsumas]
