Any1 found Xanax generic Pu*epac of poor quality?

Posted by Fivefires on January 28, 2008, at 17:54:25

I've been talking w/ my pharmacist and we're not positive it's the generic, or tolerance, but I'm having A LOT of HORRID anxiety and panic and hyperventilating.

And, I'm on about 'the highest' dosage and regimen one can go with this med.

Any1 had a similar experience?

Tks 4 any input and hope all are well, 5f

FF do you remember when the low dose luvox was taken away and only long acting xanax was given to me I didn't sleep for two weeks I even got the real brand and no difference. Think a tiny bit of an ad might help and a longer acting benzo. Heard the time release doesn't release well and you still need the regular in between happened to my daughter in law. Chemistry change in your body? I have no problem with generic valium?????? Love Phillipa

Ask your pharmacist to order Greenstone generic alprazolam. I've been on xanax for years and all of a sudden a year ago the generic was not working-- feeling withdrawal symptoms on my regular dose!!!

Then I found out that Greenstone is a subsidiary of Upjohn or whomever made the original Xanax. I've been on greenstone ever since with no tolerance withdrawal symptoms. It's worth a try. Hope this helps.

Sorry late. I've been a terrible mess. I am still in this anxiety crisis here. No AD re pdoc. Two days ago switched from Xanax 2mg tid by P*repac, to Valium 10mg tid by Myl*n. I've not been doing well at all since. There was no suggestion of titration by pdoc/pharmacist.(?)

Pdoc just called. He said I could take 4 Val a day, and I have, today, ... and, it is just now nearing 6p and the anxiety is again arising in me!

I'm frustrated and exhausted.

The anxiety is exhausting, and what is so frustrating is that you are exhausted from doing absolutely nothing!

This is so upsetting.

Tks P, 5f

Oh my goodness Abby, I wish I'd gotten to your response post here earlier!

Too late to take your suggestion as switched to diazepam 2days ago!

I wonder about My*an's diazepam?

It's not Vali*m if it's diazepam!

Last eve' spoke w/ pharmacist about equivalency re: alprazolam and diazepam. He told me not to believe everything I read online! (I know!)

U know what? I'm so freakin' anxious, I've erred.

My dose was increased to Pur*pac alprazolam *qid* about 3-1/2 wks ago, not *tid*!

I think the equivalency of 8mg (Yes eight!) alprazolam is somewhere up near 80mg diazepam.

Now pdoc out of reach for 3days and on my own.

This is what I get for not checking my posts in timely manner.

If any1 has anything to add, I *will* check by midday 2moro.

Tks anyway friends!

Bad 5f!
