According to neurotransmitter.net this drug is in phase III in the US. Does anyone know anything about the timeline for it's possible approval and/or availability?

My pdoc is in the process of importing Valdoxan to Australia for trial on some of his patients. I think it is produced by the French manufacturer 'Servier' and has already gained approval but only in France..!

My Pdoc is based in West Perth. He's the first Dr i have had that i can really learn off. He is very much into the neurobiology of the brain and he keeps up with the latest advances. Until i found him it was a case of go with your own ideas /supporting info or forget it!

H'm! This surprises me. The latest I heard was that Valdoxan/Agomelatine was REJECTED by the Emea (European Medicines Agency) in the summer of 2006.
This is the first I heard of approval in France??? Have you got any links/sites to back this up? Would really like to try Agomelatine myself.
Cheers,
Maria
