I do agree with him that the negative thoughts spring from the negative feelings rather than the other way around, but, my word, the tapping process is complex. I guess like anything else it would become simpler with practice, but I wonder if I could convince myself to do it when I'm feeling deeply depressed or anxious.

I couldn't get it to work either and I had a guy teach me. I'm biased though. Any mention of "energy", "meridians", "chakras" and I switch off. It might be based on distraction if it ever does work
