Just wondering what you are hoping to achieve from taking Adrafinil? For me, it's mostly an increase in energy, motivation, and cognitive improvement. This is only my 3rd day on Wellbutrin, and i already feel sharper, and with a little added energy. I do not know your diagnosis, but i am curious to know what your personal expectations are. I can't wait to get my order..i wonder how long it will take to arrive? Take care.

> -MJMonte,
I am hoping for some more motivation, interest in life, zest, energy. I want to get rid of my apathy, somnolence (though this may be due to the Zyprexa) disinterestedness, dullness, cognitive fog etc. I also hope to get rid of my mild depression, dysthymia.
I am glad the Wellbrutin is working for you. I hope it gives you lots of good mileage. My dx is bipolar disorder in remission but don't ask me how the pdoc came to that conclusion because he never diagnosed me as bipolar in the first place.
I don't have a lot of faith in pdocs.

> Are you still taking the Lyrica?Yes i am, and i still swear by it (for me anyway). I am aware of the warnings about combining anafrinil and antiepileptics, but i took provigil w/Lyrica and had no problems, so i am not too concerned. I am not epileptic(if that even matters?).

Got to go to bed, so I'll be quick
I experimented with Adrafanil quite a while ago, I realy liked it when it worked.
It gave me even motivation, and boosted my mood.It was a bit unpredictable though
At one point I took 600mg for a weeks and felt nothing.
At other times a single 900mg dose would have an imdiet effect.
I think 900mg was the optimum dosage for me, although most people seem to need less.Interestingly enough it may have had a slight anti-anxiety affect.
Problem was it caused bad insomnia :(
Personally Modafanil/Provigil felt completely different.
Yucky and Jittery, a bit like Caffeine or something, didn't help with depression a bit.Would like to order some more Adrafinil but have to watch the pennies at the moment.
This is the end of the thread.
