I hope I spelt that right!
I just wondered if anyone knew of any drugs or chemicals which are Glutimate Antagonists.
I sure a lot of peoples problems are glutimate related, don't have time to dig up the data now though.

hiya tom, this is something i have looked into myself recently and am currently starting to take meds that work upon the NMDA/glutamate system.
This is what i know so far:-
LAMICTAL inhibits glutamate release but i dont no its effects on the NMDA receptors,
MEMANTINE is an NMDA antagonist but weak compared to KETAMINE and DXM.
There are others such as the one mentioned in previous post (which is hellishly expensive).
Zinc and magnesium are NMDA antagonists. There is
some evidence that some vitamins i think (B1 and B12) and amino acids (theanine) have effects on glutamate. I found theeanine helpful in large enough doses.jus made me feel really crappy afta!!hope this could be of help to u!!!

I believe Ritulek is something of a disapointment.
The only person I know who had experience of it is Jah L and it didn't work for him :(
Hope I'm wrong about Ritulek
