Ok I am pissed. I have this great job waiting for me at Express Scripts (of all places) but my drug test (urine) came back showing methamphetamines! The doctor at the lab asked me all sorts of questions about what I take and when she finally hit upon "do you take anything for Parkinsons disease" I was drug smart enough to know that emsam is really deprenyl which is a drug used for that disease. But now they have to double and triple check to make absolutely sure that that is where the result is coming from.
What a royal pain in the *ss. I swear if they tell me that it isn't the emsam I will take them to court!

yup, selegeline/deprenyl is converted to methamphetamine (and amphetamine) in small amounts.
I don't know that they can discern this being from emsam or recreational use, but you *should* be safe if you've got an emsam script.

LOL, very true Phillipa! Anyway they have finally figured out that it really was the Emsam so they have let Express Scripts know.
Now if only my criminal background check would get completed! Arrrggggghhhh.....

Probably more ADD although I am a fidgit-er delux. I have major problems with fatigue. I seem to have to keep moving to keep my brain awake. I present rather anxious but if a med works to keep my brain alert I calm right down.
