I just received some unsolicited
mail from a critical psychiatry site;
i welcome criticism and discussion
of the subject, but not the marketing
of herbal remedies, "natural products"
(whatever that means), novel applications
of amino acids, etc. for the extension
and improvement of life. These guys
are making a killing, (excuse the pun).Why are they not regulated by the FDA
and Health Canada, and other regulatory
bodies? By "regulated" I mean, banned.Squiggles

I'm sure the pharmaceutical companies have something to do with it. This thread will probably be moved to Alternative ... so you might want to pose the question there.
