My meds are helping me so much that I am actually going to TEACH a Microsoft Excel class. It will be for any employee in my company (made up mostly of skilled nurses) who wants to learn it.
Even though I still get the "butterflies in stomach effect" just thinking about it, I am determined that I will do it well.
My self-confidence is at least triple what it was just one year ago, and my self-consciousness is diminishing as my confidence grows.
I just had to share this because it is simply amazing for me!!!

I'm really happy for you. About 7 years ago, I went from very severe panic disorder to "normal" in a short period of time with Paxil. The next three years were the most exciting, depression-free years of my life and I was thankful every day to get a perspective on how depression/anxiety had been a life-long affiction and what an incredible blessing it is not to be affected.
Sounds like you are doing things that you just couldn't ( and I do mean, "couldn't") have done before now! What a great time in life-thanks for sharing!

I have been taking the doxepin since very early in my treatment. The other meds were added as treatment progressed and I got most of the info on them HERE! I still have my "times" especially during PMS week, when I feel that I'm failing, but I rebound nicely after that.
I also got out of a failing marriage and that may be a big factor.
Wishing you the best,
Colleen

Colleen the marriage definitely effected it. I was married to the father of my kids for 21yrs. And the day I took the ring off it felt like a ton of bricks had been lifted of my shoulders. Been married for short periods a few times since with an attitude if it doesn't work I'll get a divorce Not I'm married again for l0 yrs and depressed makes you wonder? Love Phillipa
