a few desoxyn questions

I'd like to just post a few questions as follows:

1. Is it correct that desoxyn is pure d-meth, not the racemate?

2. Is desoxyn metabolized to both d-AMP and L-AMP. And is the conversion in the liver or brain?

3. How does desoxyn compare to ritalin in terms of peripheral effects?

4. Who currently manufactures des and what is the typical price?

5. Roughly, how *much* less peripherally stimulating is it relative to dexedrine?

Hi Saturn

It's very hard to find reliable information about Desoxyn. Any research which may have been done into its effects on ADHD seems to be sparse.

Hi Ya!

Desoxyn is legal, script Dextromethylamphetamine Hcl, available ONLY in 5mg IR tabs currently- (Ovation labs).

Many users of both Dexedrine and Desoxyn, claim that Dexedrine is superior for ADD/HD issues, as well as recreational purposes, but that is an all together different matter.

Desoxyn, being pure Methylamphetamine, is USUALLY the most effective medical treatment for Narcolepsy, AND for SOME ADD/HD issues.

I would comment that Desoxyn being script Methylamphetamine Hcl, (Notorious, thanks to media hysteria the last 5-10 years) is amoung THE LEAST SCRIPTED meds around, and PsyDocs are loath to script it.

I would also add that i have read of some folk who have functioned better on Desoxyn, than any other ADD/HD med.
