Hey my brothers and sisters!
I'm on this combo now...Im at 125mg Nortrip (been on it nearly two weeks) -- I'm wondering the onset of action for Nortrip.....any experieneces???
And Tep....pls be patient -- stay on 60mg for 4 weeks, if no response raise it to 90mg....it took 6 weeks for me, and boy was it worth it. In the meantime don't sweat it...feel free to use some benzo's and just let time past doing or trying to do things u enjoy....easier said than done.....but we must go on!
Thanks!
Ace - Crazy Nardil man!Nardil- 90mg
Seroquel- 25mg (changing to .5 risperidone probably)
Nortryptiline- 125mg
Xanax- 2mg

Ace could you answer one of Tepis's threads. I'm very worried about him. He's not responding and cultural differences make him feel like a failure. Please Phillipa

The dosage of nortriptyline that people usually respond to is 75mg. There is a dosage window of efficacy within which one must stay in order for the drug to work. The odds are that 125mg will be too high for you. The best way to use the drug might be to begin at 75mg for 3 weeks. If there is no response go to 100mg for another 3 weeks. I would not go on to 125mg without first determining the blood level of the drug to see if you are within the therapeutic range (50-150 ng/ml).
Good luck.
