Hi
I've just started taking an Ephedrine product to help with my depression, lack of interest, and lethargy. I'm on both Prozac and Neurontin (I don't suffer from mania - just depression and anxiety).
I found Ephedrine to be really good for boosting energy and getting me back on my feet - its been something of a god send. I used to sleep all the while and was usually drowsy in the day.
I bought the producton on the net, its actually a weight loss product. It contains:
28mg Ephedrine (from Ephedra)
175mg Caffeine
200 mg Chromium Picolinate
25 mg White WillowIt says on the bottle take one or two with meals, but I always take one with meals - its enough for me. The only side effects I find is jitters and irritablity. It cures my sleepiness (don't take after 4pm!), gives me energy, make me moitivated and stops me feeling so depressed! It doesn't even make my anxiety much worse!!!
Has anyone else took Ephedrine? If so what dosage and how did you like/dislike it? Is it dangerous/toxic or addictive? Does tolerance form after a while?
Thanks for your opinions,
Jay

I've tooken ephedrine, the regular kind. It does boost norephenephrine, the attention action nuerotransmitter.
Ephedrine is similar to Amphetamine, but not as potent in mental stimulation. But if it gets you out of the dumps, stay with it, but please dont overdose, i have heard bad reports on it, people dying.
Have you considering asking your doctor about Adderall or Dexedrine? they will help you be more active mentally.

From what I've heard ephedrine is dangerous and bad. Fondly, Phillipa
