i started out taking paxil 20mg mixed with phentermine and i had a real bad reaction with voices of hurting my youngest son, after that i took celexa 20mg but it made me gain weight, then zoloft 50mg for 2.5 years but things started wearing off i heard the voices again, then given effexor xr 75 mg it made my blood pressure go up, now lexapro 10 mg but i get a energy to be violent and it makes me sleepy but i was not as anxious. i take 150mg of seroquel at night and i like that med i need something to take in the morning for the depression and anxiety. i guess my body cannot take large amounts of antianxiety and depression meds. are there any other medications you all would suggest me to take without no real bad side effects i was thinking of zyprexa. please help

I have taken many different meds for anxiety/depression, too (some on your list). My list is too long to remember. I finally found the right combination: Wellbutrin and Klonopin. I take one Wellbutrin 300XL and .5 mg of Klonopin 2-3 times a day. I have had very adverse reactions to meds and cannot take SSRI's. If your doc is ok with prescribing a benzo, then it might be worth trying. Good luck in your search for the right mix. I know it is hard.

would you like to try Lexapro (15-20 mg)?ask your doc.about this!
