hi guys
I wonder if you can share your experiences with me about the drug Seroquel . What do you believe is ,in your case, the dose of Seroquel that makes you feel more sedated and wanting to go to sleep.I have read here that the lower the dose you take the more sedated you feel ,and that if you increase the dose until 300mg the sedating effect dissapear..
So what is your experiences guys ??
Thanks

How are you!!!???
The above is not true....the higher the dose, the more sedation, I know a girl on 700mg...all she does is sleep. I take 150mg and this has a definite sedative effect.
Tep, are you having problems sleeping? Let me know and I can help....

I am at 400mg of Seroquel and I can sleep at any given point. I am sleeping 11-12hr/night. If I force myself to get up, I cannot keep my eyes open and must go back to bed. I'm not working, so I can *fit* it into my schedule.
I've been taking it for 5 weeks and have an appt with my pdoc next week. It has lifted my depression and finally stabilized my mood, but what in the world do I do about the sleep?
Any suggestions are welcome!

Tep,make sure you stop drinking any fluids 2/3 hours before bedtime. In addition try to go to the toilet just prior to bed.
Nardil is making me feel great!
Cheers bro!!

I was only 50 mg's ( I think I took a total of 4 times) and it knocked my blonde southern tail out cold.
I felt like a drunk woman. I could hardly walk up my stairs.
It made me feel kind of strange- as if someone was rearranging my furniture (aka brain chemistry). It felt "forced." Hard to describe.
When I suddenly got the overwhelming urge to keep smacking my lips together, my dr. told me not to ever take it again-- apparently it was the start of tardive dyskenisia.
So no more Seroquel for me.. but it did knock me out. That's for sure.
This is the end of the thread.
