Hey, I'm new to the board. I'm wondering if any of you have been prescribed Vivactil and if you have, what have been your reactions, weight-wise, from the medication. Did you gain weight, or lose weight? The reason I'm asking, is because I certainly dont want to go on any medication that will cause weight gain, as I have been there and done that. It ultimately deepens my depression.
Hope to hear from you! All and any info/advise regarding vivactil is welcome and so appreciated!

Are you in the USA? I thought that was no longer available here. I had a neighbor who took it for migraines. Had to switch when no longer available. Fondly, Phillipa

Hey, yes I am in the USA, and it seems Vivactil is still readily available. Do you know if you friend had weight gain or loss on the med?
