I read a lot of posts on it.When my doc gave it to me she felt confident it would help since she has had good results with it including patients taking it alone.
I did have a postive response on it once, but heres the thing,HOW ON EARTH do u use it in the day,i tried adding stimulants and it seems to make it workse,i can not seem to take this med without feeling very weak and passing out.
When i told her of this, she said the lower doses r actualy more sedating, yet im nervous to take a high dose.BTW i have very low doses 25 mg.
Is it true if i took a higher dose it work minus sedation?
I remeber as i said a very very postive response the first day i had it,but that day i wasn online talking to a friend so after i took it i somehow managed to stay awake until the sedatve properties wore off, that morning with no sleep i felt almost a complete remission.
Whenever i tried it since i fall asleep, upon wakening i do NOT feel any AD effects as i did that morning.

I'm usually resiliant to meds knocking me out. Hell, even a high dose of xanax does nothing to me when I'm manic. And Zyprexa doesnt make me the least bit tired. 25mg of Seroquel puts me to sleep though. However, unlike what I have heard from others, the higher I increased the dose the more sleepy it made me. I was on quite a high dose though, 800mg. I could not imagine taking this drug in the daytime. I would also sleep for about 10-14 hours a day on it too. Now I dont sleep much :(
Take care.

Higher dosages DO NOT decrease the sedation. I was at 300mg once for insomnia and slept for 18 hours. Ridiculous.

Thanks i had 3 and actualy was gonna see it that was the case,i guess for some that form of medication works, for me personaly i never do well on meds that put me to sleep when i awaken, just doesent happen, any form of lengted sleep messes me up bad, which is why i have a whole script of lunesta that will remain unused.
