I can never seem to make it longer than about 1.5 weeks as many antidepressants seem to have this effect on me. Is there anybody here who felt worse then say 4 weeks later finaly felt good?

Many require 75mg or more for Zoloft to help. 50 mg can put you right at the threshold but not quite there. Some of the initial dulling effects of Zoloft can disappear after a few weeks. CHeck dosage, hang in there, Zoloft is one of the good ones.

I late in reading your post, but wanted to tell you that I take 100mg of Zoloft. 50mg didn't do anything for me, but 100mg does the trick. Hang in there! -L

Can I ask how long it took to start working and how you feel on Zoloft? I feel kind of zombied and out of it. How long have you been on Zoloft?

I took it for several years, and then went off it for several years. I am now back on it again, and have been on it since Jan. I think it took about two weeks for me to feel that it was starting to work, and after one month I felt much better. I increased my dosage to 100mg at one month. It made me tired, and I started taking it at night when I increased the dosage. THAT, makes a big difference! I also take Topomax and Adderall along with it. I didn't start taking the Adderall until a few months ago, so I know the Zoloft does level out. Give it some time, and if you still feel like a zombie, maybe you should try something else. People react to medication in different ways, you may not be able to take Zoloft, and be able to take Prozac, Lexapro, Paxil...etc.
How long have you been taking the Zoloft? -L
